Description:

Provides services for children under the age of 3 who have developmental delays/disabilities and their families by offering a full range of services to meet their individual needs. The goal is to minimize the effects of the delay thereby reducing the need for long-term intervention throughout the child's school years. Serves Granite & Salt Lake School Districts East of Redwood Road.

M - F 8:30 am - 4:30 pm; depending on scheduling.

Eligibility

Child birth to 3 and be determined to have a developmental delay in one qualifying area or by medical diagnosis. Family must live within Granite, Murray, Salt Lake City, Tooele County, or Duchesne County School Districts.

Fees

Free developmental evaluations and assessment. Families may be required to pay a nominal fee based on sliding scale as mandated by the Utah State Health Department. Some services are offered for private pay and Medicaid/CHIP are accepted.

          Provides a 12 week parent and child class about music and movement.

          Eligibility

          Children enrolled in DDI or open to children in community ages 18 months - 4 years. This class is primarily for children in the program but there are a few spots open to the public. Class offered at East and West sites.

          Fees

          $50 for children not enrolled in DDI; discounts available for families with multiple children in class
