Description:

Vantage Point is a short term (48 hours, may be extended for homeless youth) voluntary facility where youth ages 11-17 who are experiencing trouble at home, high-risk or homeless may come for refuge and evaluation.

Description

Provides anger management classes for any youth 11-17 in the community. Do not need to be Wasatch Mental Health clients to attend. This is a five-week class. Can fulfill a court-appointed class.

          Description

          Provides short-term shelter and time-out placement for vulnerable adolescents, as well as crisis intervention and family counseling. This includes runaway and homeless youth, or youth at risk to become so. Youth can be admitted by parents, law enforcement, or by youth themselves.

          There is no cost directly to the consumer of the services and no insurance is necessary. After 48 hours the stay is then $40 (A therapist approval is needed for stay over 48 hours -- except homeless youth).
