    Eligibility

    Children 6 weeks to 3 years. Priority is given to families who have children with disabilities or whose income is within the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

                      Smart Steps

                      Description

                      A research-based parenting program that is offered to Head Start families and the community in partnership with Utah State University. It is a seven-week course for dating, cohabitating, or remarried couples who have a child or children from a previous relationship. Topics include: strengthening the couple's relationship; stepparent-stepchild relationships; co-parenting with ex partners; legal and financial issues; and stress-reducing strategies.
