Description:
The HEAT Program provides year-round energy and water assistance as well as energy and water-related crisis assistance for eligible low income households throughout Utah. Applicants may qualify for a heating benefit (Oct. - Mar.), cooling benefit (Apr. - Sept.) and water assistance when applying for the HEAT Program.

Description
The HEAT Program provides year-round energy and water assistance as well as energy and water-related crisis assistance for eligible low income households throughout Utah. Required Documents
Photo ID for primary applicant, Social Security cards for everyone in the household, most recent utility bills, proof of ALL household income from previous month. Optional documents which increase HEAT benefit: proof of medical expenses paid the previous month, proof of child support and/or alimony paid previous month, proof of disability, Birth Certificate for a child in home age 5 or under.
Eligibility
Total household income at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Level; household is responsible for paying home energy costs; household contains at least one US citizen or legal permanent resident.
