Description:

The HEAT Program provides year-round energy and water assistance as well as energy and water-related crisis assistance for eligible low income households throughout Utah. Description

Required Documents

Copies of power, heat and water bills, proof of all income received by all household members in the month prior to the month of the application, proof of any eligible medical expenses, child support and alimony paid in the month prior to the month of application, proof of disability if applicable, additional documentation if required. Eligibility

Total household income at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Level; household is responsible for paying home energy costs; household contains at least one US citizen or legal permanent resident.

    WX Application, Utility Release Form, Dominion Energy Release Form, and proof of ownership. Renters can still apply by having landlord complete Income Property Owner Weatherization Agreement and submitted along with application documentation.

    Eligibility

    Individuals, families, handicapped, elderly (60 years and older). Total household income is no more than 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.
