Foster Love

Description

Provides an after school program that connects foster care children in 1st-4th grade to help build friendships and strengthen social skills. Activities will take place at the BYU Wilkinson Center and other areas around campus. Activities will include indoor group games, crafts, team building activities, outdoor games, field trips to the Museum of Art and the Bean Museum, and other recreational activities.

    Description

    Teaches art techniques and provides fun craft activities for children with serious health problems. Program primarily runs fall and winter semesters.

      Description

      Each week a different BYU sports team comes and teaches the participants their sport for about an hour.

        Description

        Conexiones connects Hispanics to the community by facilitating improved English reading and appreciation within Latino families. Spanish speaking ability is helpful but not necessary. Volunteers go in pairs to read with the families in their homes.

          Description

          BYU Experience is a program designed to allow college-age individuals with cognitive disabilities to enjoy the BYU experience by attending October and February activities (dance, campus tours, and service projects).
