Description:
A non-residential center for independent living designed for people of all ages and disabilities. Controlling one's life and minimizing dependence on others are essential for independent living. All services are demand-driven through the consumer requesting the service. Provides services to individuals with disabilities to facilitate their full participation in the community and raise the understanding of disability issues and access to the community. Five core services and additional support programs/services are provided depending on the needs of the individual with the disability. Additional services include disability related transportation, assistive technology equipment loans, health/disability related support groups and social clubs, peer to peer networking, disability rights groups, special education/comprehensive information and referral, in home developmental disabilities habilitation programs, and ADA implementation assistance.

People of all ages who have a physical, sensory, cognitive, or mental disability are invited to participate in Center activities. Eligibility for some services is based on economic need, however most independent living programs/services are available to all people with disabilities at no cost.
Fees
Most services are no cost. Community integration program members pay fees for some activities (dinner, movies, and community events.) Donations are suggested for transportation to community events.

Description
Provides and maintains assistive devices for the general public with priority to residents in program service area. Loan of equipment is up to 90 day; possible extensions if necessary. COVID-19 UPDATE: Following all CDC and state guidelines.

Eligibility
All people of all ages who experience a physical, sensory, cognitive or mental disability. Eligibility for some opportunities is based on economic need.
Fees
Deposits required as follows and refunded upon return of equipment: $100 for Hospital bed, $25 for Foot or Leg Rests for wheelchairs, $50 for Scooters or Power Chairs, $100 for Ramps.
