Circles Utah Valley
Description
12-week class, followed by long-term social support and access to resources. Meet weekly at American Fork, Provo, or Salem. Individuals in the Circles program are paired with an intentional friend to help individuals work on goals to move out of poverty. Circles provide free dinner each week and childcare during the meeting.

Description
Provides community garden plots for families to grow fresh produce. Renters are responsible for watering, weeding, and maintaining plot. There are four community gardens all located in Provo.

No restrictions for the first visit. Any returning visit will require proof of income and family size. Qualified individuals can access services every 2 weeks and re-certify based on income every 3 months. Households must demonstrate there is a need for emergency food assistance due to circumstance beyond their control.

Provides emergency shelter through motel vouchers to families who qualify. Must be able to prove custody of child/children.

Funds can be used for the following expenses incurred from March 1, 2020 - December 30, 2020: Rent, Utilities (water, sewer, electrical, gas) Security Deposits, arrears (payments made for housing assistance over 30 days past due) is allowable for those that didn't receive an unemployment benefit for the months seeking arrearages, late fees.

Will help individuals and families in Provo and Orem who qualify. Those living outside Provo and Orem can only receive assistance if the family has a minor child.
