Food And Care Coalition

Provides services for individuals who are homeless, including prepared hot meals, bathing facilities, haircuts, laundry facilities, dental, case management, emergency shelter, and transitional housing. Also have Wasatch Mental Health and Mountainlands Community Health Center as onsite partners providing mental health and medical services. Partners with a group called My Story Matters to provide education curriculum to the cilents.

Description:

Rental aid is available for first month's rent considerations but requires proof of employment, a signed rental agreement, monthly budget, and other documentation demonstrating that rent obligations can thereafter be assumed by the client. Funding is grant dependent

Eligibility:
Serves individuals with no children. Must have an intake assessment.

M - F 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. The office is closed T, Th 1 - 3:30 pm.

Provides transition housing units onsite. It is set up to transition residents into permanent, affordable housing. Duration of stay will vary according to individual transition plans and willingness to adhere to program rules and participation level.

Allows clients to use the Food and Care Coalition address as a temporary mailing address for correspondence between family and employers. Clients can also utilize our computer lab to communicate via email with family and friends throughout the country.

Provides hot meals and sack lunches to those in need. M - Sa sack lunches are for persons who have verifiable employment and cannot stay onsite. Su lunches are given as the to-go meal for Su dinner which is not provided onsite
