Provides support to the 60-and-older population by providing affordable daily congregate lunches, health and wellness services, home delivered meals, and caregiver support groups for the seniors of Brigham City. Related volunteer opportunities available.

Senior Centers
Description:

Provides access and information to seniors. A division of Brigham City Corporation, Bear River Association of Governments, and the Utah Division of Aging Services.

Eligibility:
Persons 60 years old and older.
Service Hours:
M - F 7:30 am - 3 pm; F 7:30 am - 1 pm
Intake Procedure:
Walk in or call for information.
Fees:

Caregiver/Care Receiver Support Groups
Description:

Support group for caregivers for persons dealing with chronic or long-term memory loss and caregivers of seniors.

Eligibility:
Open to caregivers of seniors and caregivers of persons with memory loss.
Service Hours:
M - F 7:30 am - 3 pm; F 7:30 am - 1 pm

Food Production/Preparation/Delivery Volunteer Opportunities
Description:

Volunteers can be found working in the kitchen, delivering meals on wheels, teaching various classes, outreach programs, fundraising, and assisting one another.

Description:

Delivers hot, nutritious noontime meals to eligible residents with the help of many volunteers. Frozen meals are available for weekends or holidays.

Eligibility:
Persons 60 years old and older that are homebound, physically challenged, or recuperating.

M - F 11 am - 12:30 noon

Congregate Meals/Nutrition Sites
Description:

Congregate midday meal served weekdays.

Eligibility:
Persons 60 years old and older and their guests.
Service Hours:
M - F 11:45 am - 12:30 pm
Intake Procedure:
Call for reservation or sign up online 24 hours in advance. Monthly menu is available online.
Fees:
Suggested donation $3.75 for seniors, $7.00 for all others.
