Duchesne County Children's Justice Center

Provides an avenue for child abuse reporting and emergency response, and a child friendly atmosphere designed to help children feel safe and comfortable while they are being interviewed for evaluation regarding alleged abuse. Audio and video equipment is used to preserve the interview for evidence and eliminate the need for multiple interviews.

Child Abuse Medical Evaluations
Description:

Provides medical and mental health counseling and treatment referrals, case progress tracking, community and professional education on abuse issues, and support and informational services for parents and guardians by a team of professionals.

Eligibility:
During an investigation process, the center will refer child to a medical examination team.

M - Th 7 am - 6 pm

Call to report or by referral.

Child Abuse Reporting/Emergency Response
Description:

Provides crisis response and a comprehensive child and family interview process by trained professionals including audio/video taped interviews in a child friendly environment.

For reporting, call main number during business hours. For emergency after hours, call central dispatch.
