Helps families and individuals by providing a rental subsidy towards rents and/or by providing affordable housing based on income. Various housing programs include Public Housing, Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher, and through the Moderate Rehabilitation Program.
Promotes and provides safe, affordable, and sound housing, free from discrimination, with self sufficiency opportunities for persons of low to medium income. The length of time on the waiting list varies from program to program.
Offers zero percent interest loans to homeowners to make repairs that would correct an emergency threatening the structure and/or the life and health of the household. A maximum of $5,000 is available for each loan. Application assistance available.
