Options for Independence - Logan

A non residential center for independent living designed for people of all ages and disabilities. Provides services to individuals with disabilities to facilitate their full participation in the community and raise the understanding of disability issues and access to the community. Main services and additional support are provided depending on the needs of the individual with the disability. Services included, assistive technology equipment loans, health and disability related support groups and social clubs, peer to peer networking, disability rights groups, in home developmental disabilities habilitation programs, ADA implementation assistance, information and referral.

Description:

Provides and maintains assistive devices for the general public with priority to residents in the program service area. The loan of equipment is up to 90 days; possible extensions if necessary.

Eligibility:
All people of all ages who experience a physical, sensory, cognitive, or mental disability. Eligibility for some opportunities is based on economic need.
