SSVF Program promotes housing stability among very low-income Veteran families who reside in or are transitioning to, permanent housing.

Eligibility:
Veteran Rapid Rehousing is for Veterans experiencing homelessness, and Veteran Homeless Prevention is for Veterans in housing who have fallen behind on rent.
Service Hours:
M - F 8 am - 5 pm

Call any of the three Outreach for Veterans Assistance lines.

Description:

Volunteers needed to coordinate activities, facilitate arts and crafts and be a mentor to the children in the shelter. Children ages are 5 through 12 for the Playroom and ages 2 through 5 for Play Groups.

Eligibility:
Must be 16 years of age and older and pass a background check.
Service Hours:
Playroom Hours: Tu evenings. Kids Activities are coordinated by volunteers. Play Groups M, Tu, Th during daytime hours.

Must be ages 16 and older for most programs. If a volunteer is a student, they must commit for at least one semester.
