Provides a variety of programs to Tooele County residents age 60 years or older. Congregate and home delivered meals are provided, as well as senior rides, and court community service and volunteer opportunities.

Description:

Seeking volunteers to assist with a variety of support assignments.

Description:

Eligibility:
Court ordered community service ordered by a judge. Approval by Tooele County Human Resources.

Home Delivered Meals
Description:

Persons receiving home delivered meals must be home bound. This will require a short screening and home assessment. Assisting seniors that are home bound to be able to remain in their homes comfortably, for as long as possible. Diabetic needs and food allergy issues are addressed.

Eligibility:
People age 60 and over. Please call the program for specific eligibility requirements.

Suggested donation of $3.00 per meal

Congregate Meals/Nutrition Sites
Description:

Congregate Meals are served at the Tooele and Grantsville Senior Centers. Our meals meet the dietary requirements for elderly persons. To qualify you need to be 60 years or older.

Seniors 60 and older

M - Th 11:30 am - 12:30 pm; F 10:30 - 11:30 am

Fees:
A contribution of $4 is suggested.

Senior Ride Programs
Description:

Local transportation services for seniors, veteran seniors, and persons with a disability.

Eligibility:
People 60 and over. The shuttle is for people 65 and over, veterans, and persons with disabilities.

Intake Procedure:

Fees:
Suggested maximum donation of $4 each way.
