Food Pantries and Food Box Programs
Programs that distribute food at a fixed location to individuals and families who are in need of food.
Meals
Programs that provide hot meals and/or snacks to eligible individuals and families.
Food Stamps / SNAP Benefits / EBT
State offices that accept Food Stamp applications, determine eligibility for Food Stamp programs, and issue EBT cards which can be used at the grocery checkout counter when purchasing food.
Delivered Meals/Boxes
Programs that prepare and deliver meals to eligible individuals who have difficulties shopping, preparing food, or traveling to sites where meals are being served.
WIC
Administered by the USDA Food and Nutrition Service, WIC provides nutrition education, nutritious foods, breastfeeding support, and healthcare referrals for income-eligible pregnant and postpartum women, infants, and children up to age five.
Nutrition
Programs that provide information about healthy eating, food handling, food preparation, and shopping for groceries.
