Transportation Organizations
Organizations that operate and/or manage the public and private transportation services available in a community, both paid and free, and organizations that provide information about transportation services.
Disabled and Senior Ride Programs
Programs that provide door-to-door transportation for people with disabilities and those who need specific transportation accommodations.
Traffic Information / 511
Programs that provide information about highway conditions, public transportation services, and related information. Accessible in some areas by dialing 511 and in others by dialing a seven-digit number.
Local Transportation
Organizations that provide transportation to nearby locations via bus, shuttle, shared-rides, private rides, etc. These organizations also provide information about rates, schedules, and routes for these services.
Long Distance Transportation
Organizations that provide transportation for individuals whose destinations are outside the local area. These organizations also provide information to the public about rates, schedules and routes for these services.
Mercy Transportation
Programs, usually staffed by volunteer private pilots, that provide flight services for medical missions.
Transportation Expense Assistance
Programs that provide cash, bus tokens, loans, or other forms of financial assistance for people to afford transporation. Transportation expense assistance programs may have eligibility requirements.
Transportation Passes
Programs that issue cards or vouchers that can be used to pay for transportation.
