About 211 Utah

The Goal of a Closed-Loop Referral

As a caseworker, you know how important it is to have resources outside your immediate scope at your disposal so you can help your clients get their needs met and get back to their lives.

211 Utah prioritizes closed-loop referral, a process in which our team members follow up with clients to determine whether they received services and to ask if their need was met. Closed-loop referral provides a more robust support system and creates better outcomes for clients.

About Ride United

Did you know that your clients can get free on-demand rides to and from non-emergency appointments?

Ride United, created in partnership with United Way Worldwide and Lyft, provides rides to Utahns who otherwise have no resources for their transportation needs.

Rides are provided for non-emergency medical appointments, employment resources or opportunities, food access, financial, and educational purposes only.

All they have to do is contact 211 Utah and an Information Specialist will coordinate a pickup with Lyft.
