    Description

    The HEAT Program provides year-round energy assistance and energy related crisis assistance for eligible low-income households throughout Utah. The program runs each year from October 1 through September 30. For a limited time, those who qualify for rent and utility payment assistance, may also qualify for water payment assistance.     Required Documents

    Photo ID for primary applicant (passport, Current Driver's License, State ID, US Citizenship & Immigration Permanent Resident papers), social security cards for everyone in the household, most recent utility bills, proof of ALL household income from previous month. Optional documents may be required based on individual circumstances. If applicable, proof of disability and/or proof of child in home age 5 or under.

    Eligibility

    Total household income at or below 150% of the federal poverty level. Must be the person responsible for paying the utilities. Household is responsible for paying home energy costs, and must contain at least one US citizen or legal permanent resident.

      Description

      Helps low-income individuals and families participate in energy conservation programs (such as sealing old windows) which lessen the impact of utility costs on their household budgets. Can help with furnace repair/replacement. COVID-19 UPDATE: Following all CDC and state guidelines.

      Application, Utility release form, Dominion Energy release form, and proof of home ownership. Renters can apply by having landlord fill out the Income Property Owner Weatherization Agreement. Call or visit website for additional information.

      Eligibility

      Individuals, families, elderly persons (60 years of age or older) and the disabled who are making no more than 200 percent of the current poverty income level.
