Senior Charity Care Foundation

Provides financial assistance to low income seniors, 55 years and older for help with glasses/ contact lenses, general dentistry, and hearing aids. Operates a mobile dental clinic that goes to senior apartments and care facilities in Davis, Salt Lake, Summit, Tooele, Utah, Wasatch, and Weber Counties.

Glasses/Contact Lenses
Description:

Provides vision screening, eye disease screening and testing, and discounted lenses/frames for eyeglasses for seniors in need.

Eligibility:
Must be 55 years or older, reside in a senior care setting, and meet income guidelines of 200% of the federal poverty line.
Service Hours:
M - F 8 am - 5 pm

Fees:
Works with Medicaid, provides discounted and sliding scale fees depending on income.

General Dentistry
Description:

Offers dental evaluations, preventative care, oral cancer screenings, x-rays, and other dental care, including root scaling and planning, full mouth debridement, restorations, semi-permanent crowns, extractions, and dentures not fully covered by Medicare or Medicaid.

Description:

Provides exams and discounted hearing aids to assist residents of care facilities and senior apartments who are unable to pay the total cost of their care.

Must be 55 years or older, reside in a senior care setting, and meet income guidelines of 200% of the federal poverty line.
