GMS Counseling-Clearfield

Certified to work with clients struggling with substance use disorder, who are court ordered or on state monitored probation, as well as walk in self referred clients. Treatment programs for substance use tailored to each client's individual needs. Includes general assessments, substance use disorder counseling and day treatment, and relapse prevention.

Description:

Provides group and individual therapy sessions to those with a substance use disorder, based on the level and severity of the disorder per the assessment.

Provides general and intensive outpatient treatment for those who struggle with substance use disorders. General outpatient treatment is typically 1 to 8 hours per week; intensive outpatient treatment is typically 9+ hours per week, based on evaluation and input from the client and their therapist.

JRI requirements serve as part of treatment program, including: substance use screening, risk assessment, and an evaluation that meets the American Society of Addiction Medicine criteria. Substance Use Relapse Prevention Group : For those who meet the criteria for a substance use disorder and can achieve sobriety, providing prevention skill assistance.
