The Fuller Center for Housing - Salt Lake

Provides necessary remodels, refurbishments, and revitalizations to homes of low to moderate income individuals and families who reside in Salt Lake County, with the resources and support needed to have a safe, stable, and secure place to call home. Also, provides general yard work and barrier evaluation/removal services. Home rehabilitation services and loans with related volunteer opportunities available.

Description:

Volunteers are needed who are willing to work full days, and/or weekends. Needs to be willing to bring personal tools as needed, desire to work closely with others in a 'safety first' environment, and are passionate about helping others improve their homes and lives.

Home Rehabilitation Loans
Description:

Home rehabilitation projects require significant use of donated labor. Homeowners contribute 'sweat equity' and 'pay forward' the cost of materials (no interest) on terms that fit individuals' monthly budgets, which are then used to fund the next family's project.

Salt Lake County residents of low to moderate income; below 80% of the median family income.

Home Barrier Evaluation/Removal Services
Description:

Provides Home Barrier Evaluation/Removal services to facilitate a safe living environment for people with disabilities. Services include installing wheelchair ramps, railings, bathroom grab bars, etc.

Description:
