Description:

A voluntary medical detox program that helps patients through their very initial drug and alcohol withdrawal symptoms (average stay 3-4 days), providing medical supervision during what is often a dangerous stage.

Safe Havens for Abandoned Newborns
Description:

Designated as Safe Haven for newborns to be dropped off safely. Utah law allows birth parents to anonymously give up custody of their newborn child without facing any legal consequences. DCFS then places the child for an immediate adoption.

Newborn can be dropped of at the hospital by the mother or a person acting with the mother's permission.
