Weber County Second District Juvenile Court

Provides court services with jurisdiction over youth under 18 years of age, who violate any federal, state or municipal law, and over any child abused, abandoned or dependent, and exclusive jurisdiction over traffic violations involving minors. Has power to authorize or require treatment for mentally ill or disabled children. Also provides probation services for juveniles.

Description:

Provides formal supervision and support for young people who have been convicted of an offense and released into the community under the supervision of a probation officer, in lieu of incarceration.
