Addresses the immediate needs of victims of crime. The program is for residents of Salt Lake City or those who have been the victim of a crime while in Salt Lake City. Services include assistance filing protective/restraining orders and crime victim support.

Description:

Assists with obtaining protective orders in Salt Lake City. Victim advocates will answer questions regarding protective orders as well as take victims through the necessary steps of obtaining a protective order.

Description:

Victim advocates provide in person crisis intervention at hospitals or the victim's home in some circumstances. They help with safety planning, crime prevention, and transportation from the Victim's Advocate office to court. Victim advocates attend court proceedings to support victims.
