An Intermountain Healthcare facility which offers a complete range of wellness, diagnostic, and treatment services to the community by providing a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services including emergency room, safe heaven for abandoned newborn, physical therapy, and support groups and health education. Description:

Utah law allows birth parents to anonymously give up custody of their newborn child without facing any legal consequences. Any Utah hospital, open 24 hours, is designated as Safe Haven for newborns to be dropped off safely. DCFS then places the child for an immediate adoption.

Eligibility:
Newborn can be dropped of at the hospital by the mother or a person acting with the mother's permission.
