Neighborhood House

Provides nationally accredited child care programs for children age 15 months to 12 years old as well as day programs for adults who need supervised care during the day. Clients receive the emotional, cognitive, physical, and social/spiritual stimulation needed to encourage independence, prevent isolation, and avoid premature placement in long term care facilities. Related volunteer opportunities available.

Adult Day Programs
Description:

Provides a safe environment for non-aggressive individuals who need supervised care during the day.

Eligibility:
18 years of age and older in need of supervised care; non aggressive and non combative only.
Service Hours:
M - F 8 am - 5:30 pm

Fill out enrollment interest form online.
Fees:
Sliding scale fee based on income.

Classroom Aide Volunteer Opportunities
Description:

Looking for volunteer classroom assistants, substitute teachers, and enrichment program specialists for the youth and adult day programs. Also looking for assistance with the library.

Eligibility:
Youth ages 13 or older and adults. Must pass background check and fingerprinting.

M - F 6:30 am - 5:30 pm

Description:

Provides preschool and daycare services to children year round. Also provides before and after school programs with transportation. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are provided.
