Carbon County Sheriff

Responsible for patrolling and answering calls in the unincorporated areas of Carbon county, as well as assisting municipal city police departments and the Utah Highway Patrol. The office also employs many Correctional Officers who staff the county jail where inmates from all law enforcement agencies in the county are housed. Provides restraining orders, and crime victim support.

Crime Victim Support
Description:

Victim Advocates help determine what services are needed for victims such as referral to counselors, assist victims of domestic abuse, legal referral and payment of medical costs.

Eligibility:
Must be a crime victim or witness and resident of Carbon or Emery county.
