ScenicView Academy

A nonprofit school for young adults with autism spectrum disorders and learning disabilities. ScenicView Academy works through case management, clinical services, education, employment, health/fitness, and recreational therapy. Through this residential or daytime programing, students learn about their disabilities and how to accommodate them.

Description:

Provides outpatient therapy services for adults 18 years and older with autism, learning disabilities, and ADHD.

Eligibility:
Must be a young adult 18 years olds and older diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning disability, or ADHD.
Service Hours:
M - F 9am - 5 pm

Description:

Provides special education for adults with disabilities. The length of the program is determined by the needs of the student. The students may stay at the academy between 1-3 years.

Eligibility:
Young adults 18 - 30 years old diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning disability, or ADHD, tested with an IQ level of 85 and above, have the functional maturity to participate in the program, free from excessive debt, and motivated and determined to learn independent living, vocational, academic, and social skills.
Service Hours:
M - F 9 am - 5 pm
Intake Procedure:
Apply online. The application process can take between 4 and 8 months.
Fees:
Subsidized tuition and scholarships are available to those who qualify. Application fee is $250.
