Provides a psychosocial evaluation to every client. This includes a review of the incident report and the criminal background report. A risk assessment is completed. The program uses techniques from both Social Learning Theory and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients. Clients are taught to identify triggers, thinking errors, and the cycle of violence. They learn to use time-outs, stress management, communication skills, thinking errors, and relationship clarification.
Provides one-day classes on anger management techniques and coping skills.
