Housing Down Payment Loans/Grants
Description:

Provides loans up to $30,000 to be used for the downpayment on a house for those who qualify.

Eligibility:
Applicants must live in Wasatch County and must make less than 80% of the area's median income to qualify and must be a first-time home buyer.
Service Hours:
M - F 8 am - 5 pm
Intake Procedure:
Call for an application and to be walked through the application process. Applicants must have a home under contract before the application process can be completed and have the first mortgage lined up. After the first mortgage is lined up the Housing Authority will provide a loan to make up the difference.

Eligibility is based on federal guidelines of income and family size. Applicants will be subjected to a background check and must not have a history of drug-related, violent, or sexual related offenses.
