University of Utah Assessment and Referral Services

Provides assessments and referrals for individuals with possible substance abuse problems as well as court ordered DUI evaluations. Services are offered both virtually and in person.

Court Ordered DUI Evaluations
Description:

Provides assessment for those arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and who are required by the court to receive an assessment.

Eligibility:
Individuals with substance abuse issues.
Service Hours:
M - Th 8 am - 4 pm, F 8 am - 3 pm
Intake Procedure:
Call to schedule an appointment.
Fees:
Sliding fee scale depending on income. Accepts some Medicaid types. No cost for Salt Lake County residents arrested under the age of 21.

General Assessment for Substance Use Disorders
Description:

Provides assessments and community referrals for individuals with possible substance abuse problems. Works with individuals referred by their employer, their family and loved ones, or those who have been arrested for substance-related charges.

Eligibility:
Individuals with substance abuse issues.

M - Th 8 am - 4 pm, F 8 am - 3 pm
