Wasatch Behavioral Health WATCH

Provides individual therapy, mental health evaluations, case management services, and a homeless drop in center to adults who are chronically mentally ill, homeless and do not have traditional Medicaid, private insurance, or SSI/SSA benefits.

Description:

The WATCH program offers services for people who are experiencing homelessness or severe mental illness. These services include: mental health pre-screening and assessment; individual therapy; group therapy; targeted case management linking and coordinating with necessary resources such as Medicaid, Food Stamps, Social Security Disability, Housing assistance etc; homeless outreach; medication management with a licensed prescriber and nurse.

Eligibility:
To qualify for the program, one must: have a serious and persistent mental illness, be literally or intermittently homeless, be willing to address mental health concerns and work to be free from substances, and be uninsured. Once these are met, a more in-depth intake will occur.
Service Hours:
M - Th 1 pm - 3 pm; F 8:30 am - 11 am. Clients are seen on a first come first serve basis.
Intake Procedure:
Pre-screening appointments are held M, W, Th afternoons at 1 pm; Tu and F at 8:30 am. Appointments are on a walk-in first come, first serve basis so arrive on time to be seen. Appointments are 30-90 minutes, depending on screenings and in turn intakes.
