Girl Scouts of Utah - Central Utah Service Center

A statewide organization committed to helping Utah's girls inspiring them with the highest ideals of character, conduct, patriotism, and service so that they may become happy and resourceful citizens. Doing this through scouting programs and troop/ youth club leader volunteer opportunities.

Description:

Prepares girls for a lifetime of leadership, success, and adventure in a safe, no-limits space through a college of activities such as earning badges, selling cookies, getting outdoors, and participating in community service. Gain important skills in the four areas that form the foundation of the program.

Eligibility:
Girls from kindergarten to high school graduation.
Service Hours:
M, W, Th 8 am - 5:30 pm

Description:

Volunteers introduce girls to new experiences to aid in new capabilities. Volunteers help in a variety of capacities to help develop skills and confidence; volunteers are given training and ongoing support, including roles of Troop Leader/Co-Leader, Troop Supporter (family and friends), Cookie Volunteers, Volunteer Trainers, Service Unit Leadership Team Volunteers, and Camp/Seasonal Volunteers.
