Central Utah Counseling Center - Ephraim

Provide behavioral healthcare to individuals and communities in Central Utah. Services include: DUI offender programs, general counseling services, mental health information, a mental health crisis line, mental health evaluations, psychiatric medication services, substance use disorder counseling, and substance use disorder education and prevention.

Mental Health Crisis Lines
Description:

Provides a hotline for individuals experiencing a crisis.

Description:

Call to register for the next available class. An assessment is required beforehand.

$225 needs to be paid by the end of the course.

General Mental Health Information/Education
Description:

Provides an education class on how to support someone who has a mental illness. The class is 8 hours long and is split into 2 days.

Eligibility:
Schools, police departments, churches, and community centers may host the classes

Intake Procedure:
The hosting organization needs to call and schedule a presentation.
Fees:
There may be a cost for the workbook if no sponsor is willing to cover the printing cost. If there is a cost, it will be minimal.

Substance Use Disorder Counseling
Description:

Provides counseling for those struggling with substance abuse and addiction.

Eligibility:
For adults struggling with drug related addiction
Service Hours:
M - F 8 am - 5 pm
Intake Procedure:
Call to schedule an appointment.
Fees:
Accepts Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance. Those without insurance may meet with a counselor to determine payment options. Priority is given to those on Medicaid, limited spots available for those with private insurance or Medicare.

General Counseling Services
Description:

Provides one-on-one counseling and counseling in a group setting. The center may provide a ride, or help with the cost of travel to mental health appointments for those patients with a Traditional Medicaid card. The center will pick up children from school and take them to the center for their therapy appointment and then take them home.

Mental Health Evaluation
Description:

Provides mental health evaluation and treatment including assessments, counseling, and psychiatry services. Intake takes about 2 hours. Children must be accompanied by a legal guardian. The center may provide a ride, or help with the cost of travel to mental health appointments for those patients with a Traditional Medicaid card. The center will pick up children from school and take to the center for their therapy appointment and then take children home.

Description:

Prescribes prescriptions for patients. Patients have prescriptions filled at the local pharmacy. The center may provide a ride, or help with the cost of travel to mental health appointments for those patients with a Traditional Medicaid card. The center will pick up children from school and take them to the center for their therapy appointment and then take them home.

Description:

Prime for Life is substance abuse prevention and intervention program that educates about the risks of drug and alcohol use.

Adults struggling with substance abuse addiction

Intake Procedure:
Call to register for a class. An assessment is required and must be scheduled beforehand. The center will only offer the class if there are at least 4 students registered for a class time.
