Southern Utah Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program

Satellite program of the Division of Services to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DSDHH). Provides education, advocacy and accessible support services which enhance the quality of life for people who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Specialized Information and Referral
Description:

Provides resource referrals to those who are seeking services for the deaf.

Disability Related Libraries
Description:

Provides information on deaf culture, information about deafness, resources for the deaf, and services for the deaf. Also, coping with hearing loss.

Assistive Technology Training
Description:

Provides assistive technology and training to those who are deaf or hard of hearing. Devices include caption phones, alarms, doorbells, and fire alarms and are only rented.

Individuals that are deaf or hard of hearing

Case/Care Management
Description:

Provides case management services. Individuals can learn more about assistive technology, Social Security Income, Social Security Disability Insurance, Vocational Rehabilitation, and Department of Workforce Sevices.
