Common Bonds is a support group for those dealing with the death of an infant or child or who have had a miscarriage. In addition to meetings occasional events are held, details of which can be found on the website. It is offered as a program at most Intermountain Hospitals. Meet in the northwest plaza of Utah Valley Hospital.

Description:

Utah law allows birth parents to anonymously give up custody of their newborn child without facing any legal consequences. Any Utah hospital, open 24 hours, is designated as Safe Haven for newborns to be dropped off safely. DCFS then places the child for an immediate adoption.

Newborn can be dropped of at the hospital by the mother or a person acting with the mother's permission.

The baby should be dropped of at a hospital that is open 24 hours a day. The infant should be left with a hospital worker wearing proper identification or a name badge.
