Weatherization Assistance Program

Provides help to reduce energy costs for low-income families by improving the energy efficiency of their homes while ensuring their health and safety.

Description:

Weatherization helps low-income individuals and families reduce energy costs and increase comfort and safety in homes. Can do many home repairs or replacements based on the energy audit.

Eligibility:
Income eligibility is less than 200% of the current poverty level. Priority is given to families with disabled, elderly, and preschool age children.
Service Hours:
M - F 8 am - 5 pm
Intake Procedure:
An application can be completed online, picked up at the local office, or received by mail.
Fees:
Homeowner: no cost; Landlord: no cost, unless willing to cost share on select services (refrigerator, furnaces, windows, and doors).
