These services are provided through the coordinated efforts of parents, community agencies, and a variety of professionals. Most services are provided in the family home or natural environment and community settings such as child care.
Provides confidential STD testing and treatment to the people of Summit County. Tests available include Rapid HIV, Hepatitis B/C, Syphilis, and Chlamydia/Gonorrhea.

Assures that the food in eating establishments is being handled properly from preparation through serving. Inspectors observe kitchen workers’ food handling practices, inspect refrigerators and storage areas, take food temperatures, and ensure the correct use of sanitizers and handwashing practices. The bureau also regulates temporary food events (booths) and temporary mass gatherings. Provides food safety education to business owners, community organizations, and the general public.
Provides birth control counseling and purchase of birth control pills, Mirerna intrauterine device (IUD) insertion and monitoring, Depo-Provera shot, patch, Nuva ring, and Nexplanon for women, and condoms for men in Summit County.
