Northern Utah Coalition HIV/AIDS Project

Works to enhance awareness of healthy lifestyles for individuals to protect themselves from communicable diseases. Offers sexually transmitted infections educational presentations, medicare information/ counseling, HIV testing, support groups, and related volunteer opportunities.

HIV Testing
Description:

Offers HIV/HEP testing using the 15 Minute Rapid Test that requires a finger stick whole blood sample, and results are ready during your same visit. All results for HIV /HEP C must be given in person to protect confidentiality.

Medicare Information/Counseling
Description:

Provides 30 to 60 minute information sessions to older adults and disabled on Medicare fraud and identify theft at their facilities.

Eligibility:
Seniors and disabled individuals in Davis and Weber who are under served, vulnerable, isolated, and/or non English speaking; Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries and caregivers.

Sexuality/Reproductive Health Education
Description:

Workshops for youth and young adults on self esteem, boundaries, and responsibilities related to sexually transmitted infection prevention issues.

Eligibility:
Girls ages 12-18

Description:

Support such as bus tokens, basic needs, utility, or rent assistance, for people who have HIV/AIDS.

Anyone with HIV/AIDS for HIV/AID group

Description:
