Bear River Mental Health

A group home for transitional and longer term support for individuals who demonstrate a need for both structured and supportive living. The group home is staffed 24 hours a day to provide daily contact and monitoring of the resident's behavior, personal care, daily living tasks, and symptoms associated with the resident's diagnosis.

Provides a comprehensive array of mental health services, delivered according to best practice guidelines and with respect to appropriate medical necessity. Services, in addition to individual psychotherapy, are acquired by referral from the individual client's therapist (including medication management services).

Provides a comprehensive array of youth and adolescent mental health services including adolescent/youth counseling, adult residential treatment facilities, child guidance, general counseling services, general crisis intervention hotlines, mental health crisis lines, mental health evaluation, psychiatric day treatment, psychiatric medication services, and suicide prevention hotlines.

Provides a comprehensive array of mental health services, education, and counseling for positive behavioral change in children and their parents.

Emergency mental health services are provided 24/7 to anyone in Box Elder, Cache, or Rich counties experiencing immediate, debilitating, or life threatening complications as a result of serious mental illness. A mental health professional is available to address concerns and assist in receiving appropriate care.

All services are offered in the context of a comprehensive treatment plan. Medication management may be offered to individuals who are actively involved in their treatment planning with a therapist and when it is a medical necessity. Talk to therapist about what options might be most beneficial. Medication services may only be offered once the therapist assesses client's needs and gives a referral for that service.
