Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind - Administration and Ogden Campus

Provides consulting, resource, and direct educational services to children who are deaf, hard of hearing, blind, visually impaired, or deaf-blind from birth to age 22. Services include special education, intermediate sign language instruction, hearing aids, braille, and tactile aids. Also has audiological evaluations, and beginner developmental assessments for infants and toddlers, ages three to birth to three with a developmental delay or disability. Special preschool services for children who are deaf or hard of hearing, contact local school district for a referral.

Provides a variety of media to meet the specialized needs of sensory impaired students throughout the state. Services include captioned films for the hearing impaired, braille, large print, recorded materials for the visually impaired, a parent resource library, textbook depository, visual and teaching aids that support the Utah State Core Curriculum, books for recreational reading, as well as adaptive materials which have been designed specifically for use by the hearing impaired and visually impaired.
