Offers prevention programs to students, faculty, parents, and community members. Parents receive education on how to prevent predation from the internet, recognizing the signs of bullying, or the victim of bullying, and other forms of abuse in children. It also offers programs for educators to receive tools to stop abuse by taking action and reporting it to administrators and law officials.
In-home visiting program to educate and support parents. A fully trained and nationally certified Parent Educator is assigned to each family and visits at least twice monthly for about an hour. Checks milestones, encourages parent-child interaction with age-appropriate activities, and ensures the family's basic needs are met by referring the family to community resources.
Offers various opportunities, such as working on public awareness campaigns, fulfilling office duties, and helping with fundraisers.
Provides website with data and research on child abuse, resource library, frequently asked questions, and statewide referrals to community agencies and numbers where help is available.
