Boy Scouts of America - Crossroads of the West Council

Provides a scouting program of character development and values based leadership training, which helps children and young people be prepared for life. Programs are divided by age and activities. Also has troop and youth club leader volunteer opportunities available. There are nine districts within the Crossroads of the West Council across Utah.

Description:

Seeking youth and adult leaders to serve in a variety of capacities including mentoring and administrative capacities.

Eligibility:
Background check required for volunteers 18 and over.

Description:

Train youth in responsible citizenship, character development, and self-reliance through participation in a wide range of outdoor activities, educational programs, and, at older age levels, career-oriented programs in partnership with community organizations. For younger members, the Scout method is part of the program to instill typical Scouting values such as trustworthiness, good citizenship, and outdoors skills, through a variety of activities such as camping, aquatics, and hiking.
