Cache County Children's Justice Center

Provides services to children and families experiencing physical or sexual abuse of a child. Designed to help children feel safe and comfortable. The center also provides medical evaluations, reporting/emergency response, and crime victim support.

Crime Victim Support
Description:

Provides children who have been abused and their families with resources to help foster healing. This includes therapy and medical care, forensic interviews, and resources to help meet the child’s needs.

Child Abuse Reporting/Emergency Response
Description:

Provides a comfortable, and child friendly atmosphere where children receive coordinated services among child protection and criminal justice agencies.

Eligibility:
Before the CJC can accept a case, it must be reported to local law enforcement or local Division of Child and Family Services.

Child Abuse Medical Evaluations
Description:

The center has on-site examination rooms or a local medical professional to collect evidence and safeguard children’s health. Exams may be utilized in court for evidence purposes.

Eligibility:
Before case acceptance, it must be reported to local law enforcement. Please refer to local Division of Child and Family Services.
