Canyons Family Center

Provides a variety of individual and family-based counseling, student and family support groups, parent education classes, and youth violence prevention programs. Psychologists and social workers determine what services may be needed to meet a family's needs and the services are provided to families in the Canyons School District.

Family Support Centers/Outreach

Youth/Student Support Groups
Description:

A variety of skills are presented including problem identification and analysis, goal setting, behavioral contracting, school survival skills, relaxation, and coping. Additionally, school attendance policies and laws regarding truancy will be reviewed.

Eligibility:
Provided as a support to students (ages 11 - 16) who are experiencing challenges around regular school attendance.
Service Hours:
M - F 8 am - 4 pm; Tu, W 4 - 9 pm
