Grantsville Senior Citizens Center

A senior center that helps older adults live healthy lives by providing physical fitness classes, congregate meals, and senior ride programs. The center provides volunteer and court-ordered community service opportunities.

Congregate Meals/Nutrition Sites
Description:

Provides a healthy meal for seniors on week days.

Eligibility:
Primarily for people aged 60 and over.
Service Hours:
M - Th 11:30 am - 12:30 pm; F 10:30 - 11:30 am.
Intake Procedure:
Walk in or call for more information.
Fees:
$4 suggested donation for people aged 60 and over. $6 per meal required for people under age 60.

Description:

Social workers and other professionals help seniors access community resources, social services, and government benefits to meet their needs.

Provides transportation to and from medical appointments in Tooele and Salt Lake Counties.

Eligibility:

M - F 7 am - 4 pm
Intake Procedure:
Call to schedule a ride. The last appointment time is at 2 pm.
Fees:
Suggested donation of $5 but not required.

Description:

Provides court-ordered community service opportunities for individuals with certain types of convictions.

Eligibility:
Call to find out what convictions are allowed for court-ordered community service at the center.

Description:

Provides various fitness classes throughout the week to keep seniors physically active and mentally alert.
