Hill Aerospace Museum

Free museum that exhibits more than 90 military aircraft, missiles, and aerospace vehicles on the grounds and inside the Major General Rex A Hadley Gallery and the Lindquist Stewart Fighter Gallery. Collection also includes a wide variety of ordnance and munitions, an assortment of aerospace ground equipment, military vehicles, uniforms, and thousands of other historical artifacts.

The Museum exhibits 71 military aircraft, missiles, and aerospace vehicles on the grounds and inside the Major General Rex A. Hadley Gallery, the Lindquist Stewart Fighter Gallery, and the ACE (Aerospace Center for Education) for the younger visitors. The collection also includes a wide variety of ordnance and munitions, an assortment of aerospace ground equipment, military vehicles, uniforms, and thousands of other historical artifacts.

Description:

Volunteers and volunteer groups serve the museum in a variety of capacities: improvement projects as well as cleaning (dusting aircraft, mopping, vacuuming, weeding, shoveling, etc.) Some opportunities for court-ordered volunteer service are available.

Eligibility:
Under age 18 need adult supervision; call for details on specifics for court-ordered volunteers.
Service Hours:
Tu - F 9 am - 4 pm; Volunteer hours are flexible
