Hurricane Senior Citizens Center

Provides a social setting, activities, and meals for seniors. Transportation to and from the center and in the community is also available.

Description:

A place for seniors to receive information, services, support, and opportunities for self-actualization. Activities include exercise classes and card games.

Eligibility:
Individuals over the age of 60
Service Hours:
M - Th 9 am - 4 pm. A thrift store is open each day, M - Th 10 am - 2 pm for purchase and donations.
Intake Procedure:
Call or walk in for services.
Fees:
A $4 donation is encouraged but not required.

Description:

Provides transportation to and from the center, doctor, and shopping in the Hurricane area. Provides transportation for shopping or doctor appointments on Wednesdays in St. George.

Eligibility:
Seniors who are 60 years or older and individuals with disabilities who are in need of transportation.

Call to schedule pick up time. 24-hour notice for a ride.
Fees:
All transportation is $10 per round trip for all under age 60. For those over age 60, donations are accepted.
