Kane HEAT Program

The Home Energy Assistance Target (HEAT) program is a federally funded energy assistance program that assists eligible individuals and families meet the high energy costs (electric and natural gas) during the winter and summer months. The program runs from November 1 through September 30.

Description:

Provides one-time energy assistance to low-income residents per program year.

Eligibility:
Total household income at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Level; household is responsible for paying home energy costs; household contains at least one US citizen or legal permanent resident. OUTREACH is provided only to home bound seniors and disabled clients.
